On August 1 2018, Darrius Sims signed with the Alliance of American Football and will be playing for Memphis. Like all contracts, it’s a 3-year, $250k deal.

Darrius Sims is a Memphis native having attended Whitehaven High School where he awarded the 2012 Defensive Player of the Year. He was a three-year starter at CB as well as senior co-captain. He was named Defensive MVP and was instrumental in the win over Maryville in the State Championships.

He attended Vanderbilt University playing CB, WR, and RB and still holds the school record for career return yards as a return specialist. From there he attended the rookie mini-camp for the Tennessee Titans and played during the pre-season. After that, he played in the IFL for the Greenbay Blizzards.

I, for one, am excited to see this guy play. You can check out his highlight videos below and see just how dangerous he can be.
